Sent back to France

To face the opprobrium of

His Mum

Goes Nicolas Anelka


For a while it seemed

He had lost his reputation

As a petulant, selfish wanker

But now he is at the station

Waiting for the bus.


Having denounced the coach

With the most terrible words

That any Frenchman can ever use

In insult.


"Your mother was a hamster

And your father smelt of elderberries."
